4	Sat 30/04/22	10:00	Doonside Hawks	Home	Morgan Power Reserve Field 2	Loss 0-2	We played a WM formation (3-2-2-3) with one substitute. The other team was quite strong and sported 3 female players. We did have a few scoring opportunities but were a bit unlucky.
5	Sat 07/05/22	08:30	Quakers Hill Tigers	Away	Paterson Reserve Field 1	Loss 0-4	We played a 4-3-3 formation with one substitute. The 1st half was quite balanced with a few scoring opportunities on both sides, though no goals were scored. For the 2nd half, we basically swapped the attacking line with the defensive line, so that our players have a go at different positions according to their individual aspirations. Unfortunately, our new attacking line wasn't incisive enough and the game got played exclusively in our side. We then conceded 4 goals, their own goalkeeper and defence line being never challenged.
7	Sat 21/05/22	09:00	Ponds FC	Home	Morgan Power Reserve Field 2	Loss 1-2 Rovin(1)	Undoubtedly, our best match of the season so far. We played a 4-3-3 formation with no substitute. We managed to get the ball nearly all the time in the other team's side and we created many opportunities for scoring, but unfortunately could concretise only one. The other team was quite good at counter-attacking with a couple of very fast players who would outrun our defenders a few times.

8	Sat 28/05/22	10:00	Kings Langley SFC	Home	Morgan Power Reserve Field 2	Win 12-0 Jie(7) ...	Our 1st real win of the season! We played a 3-5-2 formation with one substitute against a 10-player only team.
1	Thu 02/06/22	18:30	Kings Langley SFC	Away	Lynwood Park Field 1	Win 8-0 Jonah(1) Chris(1) Steven(6)	Both teams had 11 players plus a couple of substitutes. While Parklea U12/5 is a boy-only team, Kings Langley had 2 girls playing in their team.
9	Sat 04/06/22	09:00	Newbury Bulls SC	Away	Connor Greasby Reserve Field 2	Win 2-1 Rovin(1) Seth(1)	Both teams were complete with 11 players plus substitutes. We played a 3-5-2 formation. The match was quite balanced and we were lucky in some respect. On the other hand, we were unlucky as one of our critical, fast mid-fielders, got injured and taken off at the very beginning of the match.

Undeniably the other side played well, but at the same time we were also a bit unfortunate with a couple of own goals and a missed penalty. Perhaps our main weakness was not being able to keep our positions.

They sure had talents but, above all, they kept their positions on the field all the time, thus always having a couple of players well positioned they would pass to and score.

Still, we were unable to keep our positions on the field and some of our players displayed an obvious lack of motivation.

14	Sun 07/08/22	09:50	Ponds FC	Away	Doug Bollinger Reserve Field 2	Loss 1-6 Ryan(1)	The 1st half was unbelievable: we held them 0-0 even though we were only 9 vs 11+1 players on the field. However, fatigue kicked in the 2nd half and we conceded many goals. Fortunately, our honour was saved with a goal within the last 5 minutes.
17	Sat 13/08/22	09:00	Ropes Crossing Strikers	Away	Ropes Crossing Reserve Field 1	Loss 0-6	We had 11 players - including an extra player from the U10/1 Girls - against the best team of the ladder. Their players didn't really show any outstanding skill, but they always kept their positions on the field when attacking as well as when defending while our team was still unable to keep ours and, in many occasions, we ended up with only one defender facing three of their strikers.
